New legislation, which comes into force on the 6th April 2006, places more responsibility on you to protect your workforce. In addition to lowering the peak sound pressure exposure limit, the new legislation has stringent average personal noise exposure levels which could easily be exceeded in your call centre.

The law specifies that you must carry out a Noise at Work Risk Assessment if average exposure levels could be above 80db(A) and, if required, take action to safeguard the health of your agents.

We understand that interpreting the legislation is complicated, because we've done it. We also understand that assessing the multitude of protection products available is complicated, because we've done that too. We don't feel there's any need for you to repeat the work that we've already done, which is why we're offering to visit your premises and carry out an assessment for you at a fixed price with no hidden charges.

For a fixed fee of £950, we will audit both the work and rest environments, assess the technology in use and measure ambient noise. We will supply you with a report detailing what equipment, training and procedures must be implemented to meet the requirements of the new law.

In most cases, changes to policies and procedures will be required to comply with the Control of Noise At Work Regulations. Acoustic protection devices may be required, depending on the frequency of calls, type of conversations, and the working environment.

Simply purchasing acoustic protection devices is not enough.

Several different products are available which claim to offer a solution to the legislation tangle; but you can't comply with the legislation using a product alone. Average monitoring has to take account of background noise, and you have responsibilities to educate your agents and log what happens to them throughout the day. You may even be required to test their hearing regularly.

To take advantage of this offer simply either call us on 01625 421 903 or click the order button in the blue panel.

For an additional £400 we will also hold a presentation of the results for the call centre management, fully explaining the legislation, results of the assessment and the solutions avaiable.
