Fond memories of Smiles, Mike's homebrew, Ashton Court Balloon festival and a road full of Saabs.
I lived in Bristol for about 4 years. I moved there because it seemed like a fun thing to do at the time (given that Beth and Dave were there) and it certainly beat living at home (Sorry Mum!)
It was a great city to live in and strikes a perfect balance between old and new. I first lived in the centre of town above a bar which was great fun, although a little noisy. I later bought a house on the outskirts of Bedminster.
Part of me wants to move back to Bristol one day, but I also rather like going to new cities. I'd also like to live back down in the south east, so who knows where I'll end up.
