macclesfield - tegg's nose

Teggs nose country park is about 2km from our house in Macclesfield, and I'll admit to being quite enamoured with the place at the moment. Walking from our house takes about an hour with a considerable amount of effort, or you can drive to the car park and get the view without the work.

It's a top spot for flying the kite as you're sure of good wind. Sometimes it can be a little too strong, as I learned when I look the kite up there the first time and broke the lines!

You'll all be pleased to hear that I've now purchased stronger lines.
